Free two-day workshop during April
Carers Tasmania is calling for registrations to participate in a series of free, two-day training opportunities for family and carers of people with mental ill-health.
This training is ideal for people who want to learn how to better support a family member or friend to access psycho-social supports through the NDIS, with the potential to lead to paid work to support others in a similar position.
The training has been specifically designed to prepare participants to provide support in a peer work capacity. The program includes elements of self-care and supported decision making and will take participants through the process of supporting a person with psycho-social disability to prepare and complete an NDIS application.
Wednesday, 8 April 9:00am-4:00pm
Thursday, 9 April 9:00am-4:00pm
Tramsheds Function Centre – 4 Invermay road, Launceston
