Talk to Us

Being a carer can feel overwhelming and draining, particularly dealing with ‘the system.’ We are here to help you find your way through the maze of services and support.

We know that the caring journey can change often and suddenly in some cases or slowly in others. We know that with each change, you have different needs and questions to feel in control of your caring journey.

We don’t tell you what you need to do. We listen, ask questions, and hear your context and offer services, supports and solutions based on what you’ve said. Solutions can include respite, peer support, advice and information, counselling or referral to other specialised services.

  • Carer Support

Our local support programs can provide one-one-one information and support and connect you with other carers, groups, events and activities, so you can spend some time away from your caring role in a social environment.

  • Respite

It’s okay to need a break from the demanding role of a carer. We can help you to explore options and plan flexible respite that best meets both your needs and the needs of the person you care for. Or provide options in the event of an emergency.
