In a media release today, Carers Tasmania offers to Work with Minister Courtney to Continue the Work of Supporting Young Carers.

Carers Tasmania has warmly welcomed yesterday’s announcement by Premier Peter Gutwein of the creation of a Children and Youth portfolio.

“We wish Minister Courtney every success in this role and look forward to meeting in the near future to highlight the challenges of young informal carers, particularly within schools, which also falls into another of the Minister’s responsibilities,” said David Brennan, CEO.
